Ear candling (5 CPD points)

This course has received recognition from the GCP and IPTI. Ear Candles have been used traditionally by healers and the candles which are used originate from the Hopi tribe from the South Western USA.

There are two parts to this holistic and enjoyable treatment:

There is the application of the special candles which are made from natural products such as honey, pure beeswax and herbs such as sage, chamomile, St John's Wort and beta carotene. The gentle action of the candle's vapour can help many conditions such as sinusitis, stress and excessive was build up.

A detailed face and neck massage reinforces the candle's actions and stimulates the lymphatic and blood supply; works on the energy zones and also traditional sinus acupressure points. If desired and to obtain a diploma, a written test will be offered at the end of the course.
