During this course you will receive and give at least 10 massage treatments. This on its own, makes the course worth joining as the cost of a massage currently varies between £30 and £70. This is a truly enjoyable course and greatly missed by our students when it is completed. The written exam is a combined Anatomy / Physiology (two thirds) and Massage paper (one third). Prior to sitting this exam, you must have studied both subjects. . You may wish to study both subjects at the same time, otherwise, we recommend that you join the Holistic Massage course in your first term, then join the Anatomy / Physiology class in your second term. This way, your knowledge of Anatomy / Physiology will be at its peak for the exam and you are unlikely to lose your massage techniques if you practice regularly.
What students say...
Juliet K: excellent Holistic Massage course, really well run and organised. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The small group and friendly environment were really conducive to learning and regular practical exchange was an excellent way to build confidence and improve techniques. Tutor was very knowledgeable and really supportive, provided excellent one to one guidance and advice. Excellent preparation for both practical and theory exams-revision days were invaluable for everyone in the group.
